The movie Alexis Zorbas "Zorba the Greek" of 1964, directed by Michalis Kakogiannis with Anthony Quinn, Alan Bates. The film won three Oscars, the most important being the second Oscar female role for the performance of Lila Centrova, in the role of Madame Ordnance. The music of the film which was written and composed by Mikis Theodorakis, became universally known as "syrtaki".
